YOUTH MINISTRY

Aldersgate Youth Ministry invites students to grow spiritually, serve boldly, and form friendships rooted in Christ.

When and Where We Meet:

  • Sunday Morning – 10:00–10:50 AM (lesson + donuts in the Disciple Center)

  • Sunday Evening – 5:30–7:00 PM (dinner, games, Bible study or youth-led lesson)

  • Wednesday Coffee House – 4:00–5:00 PM at Rooster’s Coffee House (for high school students)

GROW TOGETHER IN FAITH

A Place to Belong, Be Yourself, and Grow With God

AUMC Youth is a community where students are encouraged to ask questions, serve others, and deepen their relationship with Christ through fellowship, service, and mission. We work hard, play hard, and learn to live our faith out loud.

(10:00–10:50 AM)

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Faith, Friends, and a Side of Donuts

Each Sunday morning, students come together for a casual time of connection and conversation. We enjoy a light breakfast and explore scripture through discussion, interactive games (like Bible Jeopardy), and practical faith lessons that apply to everyday life.

  • Location: Disciple Center (“The DC,” directly east behind the main building)

  • Grades: 6th–12th

SUNDAY NIGHTS

Gathering for Good Food, Good Friends, and God’s Word

Every Sunday night is different, but you can count on a good meal, fun, and meaningful conversation. Students share food and fellowship, play group games like 9-square, and dig into scripture through youth-led or Emma-led lessons. It’s a space for real community and genuine faith.

(Wednesdays at 4:00-5:00 PM)

Coffee & Conversation

Real Talk, Real Faith, Real Life - Espresso Yourself

High school students (9th–12th grade) meet at Rooster’s Crow Coffee House each Wednesday from 4:00–5:00 PM. It’s a casual midweek check-in with coffee and pastries on us. A chance to slow down, talk about life, and connect faith with the everyday.

MEET EMMA TUTTLE, YOUTH PASTOR

Faithful Leadership With Energy and Heart

Emma brings deep commitment, laughter, and a whole lot of energy to guiding students in their faith journey. A mother of two and a dedicated servant leader, she loves Aldersgate so much that she came back to serve again. Whether it’s coffee on Wednesdays, donuts on Sundays, or a round of gaga ball followed by a deep conversation about life and faith, Emma meets students right where they are and helps them grow in their walk with God.

LOVE STUDENTS? GET INVOLVED

Help Lead the Next Generation of Disciples

Parents and volunteers play a vital role in Aldersgate’s Youth Ministry. Whether it’s cooking a meal, driving on a trip, or helping lead a Sunday night activity, your support helps students grow in Christ and experience authentic community. Opportunities to serve include chaperoning for trips and retreats, providing Sunday night meals, assisting with Sunday School rotations, and helping with fundraisers or special events.
