WHO WE ARE
Deeply Rooted
At Aldersgate, everything begins with who we are. We are a church deeply rooted in faith, community, and discipleship. Our tagline, Deeply Rooted, reminds us that spiritual growth starts below the surface through prayer, study, and relationships, and bears fruit when we reach outward with love and purpose.

OUR MISSION
Each Person is Cultivating Mature Disciples in Christ
Our mission calls every person at Aldersgate into active participation. Discipleship is not just the work of pastors or staff but of all who call this church home. Each of us nurtures faith, lives out the gospel, and helps others grow in Christ. Together, we are shaping a community where spiritual maturity takes root and flourishes.
OUR VISION
Building a Multigenerational Church on Relational Paths of Discipleship
In the next five years, Aldersgate United Methodist Church will continue building a multigenerational church on a foundation of relational paths of discipleship. This vision is about growing deeper and wider, strengthening our roots in Christ while extending our branches toward God’s mission in the world. Across every generation, we walk beside one another in worship, friendship, and service.

OUR WHY
Rooted in Purpose
Our purpose is simple: to live out our faith through worship, community, and service. We value being together, growing in generosity, and walking beside one another on the journey of faith. Each week, we gather to worship, study, and serve, embodying God’s love through tangible acts of compassion and grace.
Living Out Our Faith Together
DISCIPLESHIP AT ALDERSGATE
Discipleship at Aldersgate is not just about belief, it is about practice. As we grow in faith together, we take on four distinct roles that help us live out our mission and measure how we are maturing as disciples. These roles shape how we move through life, serve others, and grow in relationship with God and one another.

RELATIONAL PATHWAYS
How We Grow Together
At Aldersgate, discipleship happens in relationship. Our Relational Pathways describe the spaces where faith is formed and community is strengthened through learning, service, and shared life. These pathways are not programs, but living connections that help us move from grounding in faith to maturing in discipleship. They remind us that growth is not meant to happen alone but alongside others who walk with us on the journey.
